About Hayley

From balance sheets to brushstrokes.

Hayley Lombard is a contemporary South African artist known for her richly textured abstract works inspired by nature, movement, and light.

Her path to the studio was anything but a straight line. After a successful career as a Chartered Accountant and CFO in Canada, Hayley followed a creative calling home to South Africa — trading boardrooms for a studio on the KwaZulu-Natal North Coast, and spreadsheets for plaster, pigment, and texture.

Today she creates original artworks collected across South Africa and internationally. Her pieces bring warmth, connection, and a sense of home to beautifully curated spaces — and her work has been exhibited in galleries across the country and commissioned by private collectors, hospitality venues, and corporate clients including Investec and Hollard.

Everything begins with the landscape outside the studio door: the coastal light, the movement of grass and water, the generous warmth of the North Coast. Layer by layer, each work carries that feeling into the rooms where people live, gather, and come home.
