Questions
Frequently asked questions
How do I buy a work?+
Simply add the piece to your selection and check out — payment is by secure EFT (bank transfer), with the banking details and a unique reference provided at checkout. Your work is reserved the moment you place the order, and Hayley confirms personally as soon as payment reflects. If you'd rather talk it through first, enquire on the work's page or WhatsApp Hayley directly.
Are the works originals?+
Yes — every piece in the catalogue is an original, one-of-a-kind artwork, signed by Hayley and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. When a work is sold, it's gone; similar pieces can be commissioned.
Do you ship internationally?+
Yes. Works are shipped fully insured and professionally packed, anywhere in the world. International shipping is quoted per piece and destination — enquire and Hayley will arrange a courier quote before you commit.
Are the works framed?+
Most works are on stretched canvas with painted edges and arrive ready to hang. Where a piece is framed, it's noted in the description. Hayley is happy to advise on framing options for your space.
Can I see a work before buying?+
Of course. Studio visits in Ballito are warmly welcomed by appointment, and Hayley can send additional photos and videos of any piece — including in-situ mock-ups on a photo of your own wall.
How do commissions work?+
A commission starts with a conversation about your space and what you love. Hayley proposes a size, palette, and timeline, confirmed with a 50% deposit. Most commissions take four to eight weeks.
What if the work doesn't suit my space?+
Hayley wants every piece to be loved. If a work isn't right once it arrives, contact the studio within 7 days to arrange a return in original condition and packaging — see Shipping & Returns for details.
