Threaded Pops explores the interplay between colour, movement and negative space. Sculptural marks in blush, buttercream, apricot, burgundy, turquoise and deep green punctuate a sophisticated charcoal ground, while fine looping lines travel freely through the composition, connecting each gesture.
The heavily textured surface gives the work a tactile, almost relief-like quality, with raised forms casting subtle shadows and changing character as the light moves across the canvas. Generous areas of space allow each mark to hold its own presence, creating a composition that feels spontaneous yet beautifully considered.
