Threaded Colour is a refined study in rhythm, contrast and playful restraint. Sculptural marks in blush, apricot, cream, teal and deep berry tones float across a softened charcoal ground, while a fine looping line moves through the composition like a quiet thread, drawing the eye from one gesture to the next.
The heavily textured surface gives each mark a tactile, almost object-like presence, allowing light and shadow to shift across the work throughout the day. Bold colour is balanced by generous negative space, creating a piece that feels expressive yet considered.
