Inspired by the warmth, textures and gentle light of the African landscape, Soft Earth Rising explores the quiet beauty found where botanical forms, earth and atmosphere meet. Soft clay, blush and sandstone tones are layered with handmade red wine pigment, creating a luminous surface rich in warmth, depth and subtle variation.

Built by hand using layers of mixed media, the raised botanical forms give the painting a tactile, sculptural presence. The interplay between richly textured foliage, expressive brushwork and translucent passages allows light to move across the surface, revealing new shadows and details throughout the day.

Part of the Sculptural Collection, this work celebrates the richness of natural forms and layered surfaces, bringing warmth, sophistication and organic texture into contemporary interiors.
