There are moments in the African landscape when colour seems to drift through the air. As the sun lowers, warm apricot light settles over the veld, softening every edge and covering the landscape in a fine, luminous haze. Apricot Dust was born from those fleeting moments.
The clustered prickly pear forms are built by hand using sculptural layers of mixed media, creating a surface that feels both organic and architectural. Rather than standing apart, each form overlaps and leans into the next, echoing the way these remarkable plants naturally grow together to create shelter, rhythm and quiet harmony.
Framed in solid oak, Apricot Dust balances earthy richness with gentle warmth. It is a celebration of the understated beauty found in the spaces between light and land—where colour lingers, textures emerge, and familiar landscapes become quietly unforgettable.
